Vintage Siam 925 Sterling Silver Black Onyx Marcasite Necklace Pendant Brooch

Description

This opulent brooch/Pendant Necklace was created by Thai Artisans in the 1980ies, who had  in that decade a passion about reviving the Art Nouveau and Art Deco style. The oval Onyx Cabochon in the center of the piece is surrounded by an elegant garland studded with genuine faceted Marcasites. The design has added movement
by 7 dangling elements, also studded with glittering Marcasites.The jewellery can be worn either as brooch or as pendant. The bail for the pendant folds discreetly into the backside of the brooch when not in use.

Hallmarked: 925 on the backside of the brooch, on one of the dangling elements.
Weight: 13.7 gram total weight
Dimensions: about 1 1/2 inches wide at widest point x about 2 1/4 inch long at longest point, including
the bail. The bail alone is about 3/8 inch long x about 3/16 inch wide.
Mechanics: Security clasp and bail in working order.
Condition: New without tags, unused and unworn item, in storage away from natural light, in temperature controlled environment.
